Yes, in some sense, McCain has a point to say that Obama is somewhat a big shot and as popular as Hollywood celebrities ( but not the same as Paris Hilton or Britney Spears). His charisma is undeniable and he doesn’t bring disgust. And this is also the sentiment of the old-word voters, that you cannot help but to love Obama, but his experience is still in limbo. He is completely new to the Americans’ perception of a president.
But now, in an unprecedented move, his wife, Michelle is closing the gap by making that emotional speech at the Democratic National Convention. She relayed her humble beginnings and her struggles with a father with a MS (Multiple Sclerosis). She proved that she is just like any of us. She just disproved those who questioned her loyalty to the country.
With this speech, she closed the gap that separated their family from the average. Her understated elegance was surely a sign that she is the classis wife who’ll stood by her husband but will not be taken down by criticisms.
