Aaaaww-looking babies in Halloween Costumes

October 23rd, 2008 No Comments »

I just can’t get enough of Halloween.  Maybe because I, well, don’t we all, need a good laugh. You can rarely hear truly happy stories, and if there are, those news are relates to politics or the celebrities.  Halloween comes before the elections and one can expect chaos during this day when people, (or at least the registered voters) would be lining up to vote by paper or by touch screen.

So, in the spirit of Halloween and in relation to my post about the cutest animals in Halloween costumes, have now decided to highlight the babies.  By babies, I mean, those tots who can barely stand on their two feet and just crawl and sleep and eat all day and has mama and dada as their first words.

Indulge in these photos which surely can make you go aaawww:

Doesn’t this baby just look beaming in this monkey costume? Bet this tot doesn’t know what the costume is for, but obviously happy about it.

Looks like a dog costume but whatever it is, this babe is excited to go trick-and-treat.

This baby already reaps the fruit of labor in going from house to house to collect sweets.  And who could not give this baby a candy? Way too cute to resist.

This baby must be not only dressed up to go trick and treat, but to a neighborhood costume party.  This tot rocks that Flash costume.

Not a happy camper, this one.  But maybe it’s because this kid can barely see through the giraffe’s nose. But crying is actually adorable for babies, but it’s a different story once they grew up.

It’ll be more fun to have your favorite toy when you’re about to embark on Halloween night. This must have been custom-made, it fits this baby perfectly.

This baby definitely knows her priorities.  Clearly, she knows she’s too young to rule.

This baby rocks the pointed hat.

The costume must be a bit uncomfortable for this baby, but nonetheless, this kid’s so cute!

These babies are too young to actually eat the candies that they collect.  But the greatest joy is experienced in dressing these innocent babies and they would not actually mind it.  The fashion police would not even dare to rate the costumes as the babies alone are winners.  Every baby looks cutest when dressed up. Looking at these photos would surely melt your heart and make you forget for a while that this country’s economy is in tsuanami or is going nuts over politics.

Oh-So Cute Animals In Halloween Costumes

October 14th, 2008 2 Comments »

In the spirit of Halloween that’s just a little over two weeks away, have decided to blog about the coolest costumes for this occasion.  Now, these are not just Halloween costumes, but THE Halloween costumes that will look nice for the beloved pets. Our pets have the right and the “it” factor to be on the spotlight too, like the animals in the movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua, which is number one in the box office right now.

After all, discussions about the elections have come to the point of being a bit sickening so, to make things a bit fun and warming, have collected photos of animals who look oh-so cute and adorable in costumes.

The dog literally in hotdog costume is funny and adorable, though the costume is a bit oversized.  Bet the other dog is fuming with envy, very deep down inside. Or he’s just after the hotdog itself.  Walking around can get one hungry.

This chinchilla is ready to go to the dance.  The hat is to die for. And the little guy (or girl) is actually smiling!Obviously, this one likes to party and just have fun.

Now, that hat is obviously too small for this dog’s big head, but nevertheless, the dog looks so adorable. Though this one isn’t the ideal cowboy dog, he seems to pleading for a larger size as the sunlight hurts his eyes.

We all know what’s the inspiration behind this getup.  The dog isn’t the only one who looked cute, but the little tot as well.

The dog and the pig’s tails look alike in a way.  Nothing like a strong-faced dog turned into an adorable little pug by a pink pig costume.

This shot makes prison not that scary.

And the real bunny looks cuter than the stuffed toy.  Kind of redundant though.  Dressing a bunny with a bunny costume.  But still looks so cute!

The kids should not be the only ones who should get ready for Halloween.  Dressing up your pet can be fun and they can be with the kids when they go trick-and-treat.  So, why prepare as early as now! Paris’ Hilton’s dogs are not the only one who can get all dressed up.  The elections is not only the important thing come November,  but Halloween as well.  And let the animals have fun as well.  After all, they can’t really complain and launch into tantrums as kids might put on.

Wacky yet adorable poses with dad

Since father’s day is just days away, I felt it is only fitting to feature father and child photos that can make the fathers out there feel that they are valued and we there is a warm feeling when seeing a father carefully but securely holding their child in the hands. We lean on to dad for the wacky moments.  We let them hold us up in the air or drop dead or jump from the swing knowing they’ll be there to catch us.

So, without further ado, here is a mixture of wacky father and child poses that might make mom nervous.

Whoa, his hands do really have a strong grip.

The boy looks surprised to have fitted his head out his dad’s shirt.

Who says we can’t fly without wings, Dad can make us fly.

I’m having a hard time seeing him balancing with the baby, but still,it looks adorable!

Good thing the child isn’t crying

I hope it’s milk or juice that’s in the kid’s beer canister

The father looked more amazed than the child,oh well, you have to set an example, right?

Let this post be a small tribute to all the fathers who we normally see as somewhat undemonstrative and cold, but these pictures show that they are just as nurturing and showy as we would like them to be.  So, happy father’s day!
